Terrible food. The salsa is way too hot to eat comfortably. Too much salt on everything. I had fish tacos Del Mar. The fish was crispy burnt. Rice and beans were disgusting. Ordered the guac and sent it back. For $6.50 it was literally a small scoop they just schlepped onto a plate. Coke was over carbonated water with just a hint of actual pop in it. Not only was the food terrible so was the service. Didn't get greeted at our table for over 10 minutes. 15 before we had our drinks in hand. Server had terrible attitude and could barely hear him speak. Manager was reasonable and 1/2'd our bill without us asking. That's was the only positive. I would t even give this place one star but had to in order to leave review.
Went back again today and have to change my review. I typically don't put in bad reviews but this is warranted. Rice dry, refried beans soupy, and wife found a hair in her food. Totally turned off and won't be back. Our waiter smelled like he hadn't showered in a while and overall slowness from all staff.
Hit and miss on service. Usually go to bar area for happy hour and sometimes good svc sometimes not. Have not been in dining area so might be different there. Usually just me and wife for happy hour. Service might be different in dinning area
Took my youngest there for chips and queso etc. Gabrielle was our server and did a GREAT job even though it was busy. Food was delicious and she even brought free sopapillas for an early birthday for my son! One of the best experiences we've had there.
