A place with a distinctive atmosphere and menu. The craft beers and the foods use a lot of local ingredients and the result is excellent food and unique beers. Matt was our server and he did an excellent job making sure we had what we needed and everything was good. Looking forward to going back again in the summer when they open up the garage and we can sit outside. Definitely would recommend it for people who like to experiment with craft beers or just want some good food.
We visited BTB after reading mixed reviews online. When we arrived at around 1:30 there were a few tables, but it wasn’t busy. We waited for a bit and eventually got a server (John) who took our order. John was the main reason for the 4 star review, he was attentive but not over bearing, and had a great personality. The fries came out cold, and egg on the burger wasn’t runny at all, though it was ordered over easy. The special (nacho burger) was good, I would order that again, and the cheese curds were great as well. Overall I felt it was a bit pricey for what you get, and there are a lot of kinks that clearly need worked out around service and food quality, but their service recovery was good, so we will likely come back and try it again.
Beer was good. Not greatest. Food was cold and overpriced for burgers. You think two patties on a burger would be good size nope. Small portions. Only thing I saw that looked good and good price for what you get was nachos and Onion rings. It was busy on a Friday night but we never had anyone check up on us after we had to get our meal that we had tobsent back for both our entrees after we made sure they could subtract items that came on burger. After it was corrected sorta they still brought back cold..... Sad had high hopes
09/24/17 - Just got home from taking my son out to a rare dinner occasion and I am full of regret from taking him to Barn Town Brewing. The kids meals were basic so he wanted to order off the regular menu. Sandwiches, burgers, and appetizers are it. He decides on wings ($10.99) and they come in three flavors. He chooses two of the flavors and is denied. We had to order the smallest fried chicken you've ever seen and have sides to dip them in. I order chicken tenders ($11.99). We would both like side salads instead of fries. He has a child's iced tea (never being asked if he wanted any more) and I order a 12 oz craft beer. Our bill came out to $40.00!!
Great food. I had the barn burner burger and was very happy (put Chorizo on any thing and I'm happy) both beers I had were outstanding. Only bad thing I can say was the service leaves a little bit to be desired
Not worth the experience. Your money can go much further at other restaurants.
If you decide to eat here, please do not ask for anything except what is given. If you do, you will be up-charged $6 per person.
