I was quoted a wait time is 45 minutes to an hour, while on my lunch break. It was two hours before I still wasn’t seen. It was for the same problem that my product had two weeks ago with literally the same notes that could’ve been put on the account. To ship it for repair. When I asked where I was in the queue, I got told just a few minutes, that happened quite a few times. I would’ve much preferred straight answer from the beginning that I needed to make an appointment and come back at a later time.
To the comments saying, that there are a lot of employees standing around that can’t help you, because they are sales. That is what is funny about it, every one of these positive reviews is someone getting a product sold to them, not coming in for repair for a faulty product. Yeah I’m sure they’re great service when they are selling to you.
Had an awesome experience at this store. I worked with Rick and he was extremely patient in helping me with my pay off when upgrading my phone with Verizon. I took a lot of his time, and he never once looked frustrated or showed anything but superior customer service. Very professional sore, and very friendly staff! Even purchased accessories knowing that I could purchase somewhere else for less money (but wanted to give Rick and the store extra business.)
The service here is always great, the people are friendly and helpful. Every visit I’ve made to the Apple store to either purchase products or deal with a repair has been very pleasant. In the one or two times I’ve needed to get in without an appointment they’ve been very accommodating.
After several attempts to fix my phone over the phone with Apple, (messaging and Bluetooth issues) they finally set me up with an appointment to go to the Apple store, (an hour and a half away from home) and exchange my phone, they then tell my fiance ( i was at work) they couldn't do anything about it because my phone was bent!!!! My fiance said she literally had to point it out, u could hardly even tell. When I asked to talk to the manager for second opinion over the phone, he said he didn't have time to do so, he had a store to run.
Went last night to get a quote to repair an iPhone 6s screen. We only needed the quote so we could give it an organization that was responsible for it's breakage so they could move forward with the insurance claim. We apparently needed to speak with a tech for this because they had to tie the quote to the iPhone's unique serial number. Whatever, right, okay lets talk to a tech for a number. The wait time to see a tech... 1 hour and 45 minutes. This is at like 7PM on a Monday. The Apple store is scheduled to close at 9PM. Beyond that, who the heck wants to wait 2 hours FOR A QUOTE. Asked to speak to the supervisor, she comes over and just repeats what the first guy, which I'm all for, as supervisors should back up their employees. However, in this case where all I needed was some numbers, maybe she could've I don't know, hey tech take 2 seconds and print us out what it would cost to fix this phone. Nah, she called me bud a bunch of times and kept spewing the 2 hour wait time. Irritated, I walked out after some choice curse words which was wrong on my part. I decided to go online and try to reserve a slot for a tech then for the next day. They're booked up until Friday on their website. So, I walked back in hoping I could set up an appt. for tomorrow if I spoke directly to a representative. I went and stood next to the guy who told me what I didn't want to hear and waited for him to finish speaking to the customer he was helping. The woman needed to see a tech for something too by the sound of it, because he told her the wait time is also 1 hour and 45 minutes. She was just as happy as I was when I heard this. She said okay, can I schedule something for tomorrow then. He goes, we're booked up until Friday, which answered the question I walked back into the store for. She started to protest now, so I interrupted him talking his "we can't do anything about it" nonsense and showed her all the openings they had because I had it up on my phone. She left the same way I did originally, saying how ridiculous this is. Before she left, she made the point that there appear to be 20-30 red shirts in this store, none of them can assist her? The guy she was talking to said, they're sales. Hold the phone, right? 20-30 sales people actively on the floor. Makes you wonder how many tech's they have actively working, right!? Now, don't get me wrong. Apple staff are always friendly and professional, but this is seriously unacceptable. Hire some more techs....and I'm not your bud!!!
Seems like all the people giving negative reviews just marched in the store and expected to be put ahead of people who made appointments. Just because you see an employee standing around does not mean they can help you. Most of the employees you see in the store deal with sales not repair or troubleshooting.
