The last couple weeks at the lindale mall location in Cedar Rapids has been a horrible experience, they are all new faces and they are all completely rude and disrespectful. I am now more than ever willing to drive two hours to Lindsey's store to see those girls!!
Me and my mother walked in and never was spoken to or help every other customer that was (white)who enter the store was help and spoken to @ the Merle Hay location.
I love Torrid as a company, but this location has something to be desired. I have been to this particular store several times, every time I get ignored. I have a history of working in retail, so I know that acknowledging a customer and telling them that you will be with them as soon as they can be, goes along way. I was shopping for a sports bra, over the weekend, and the employee working there made eye contact, but never said a word. The store was very understaffed for a Saturday, around noon. I have been to other Torrid stores, like at the Mall of America and in Souix Falls, SD, and I get blown away by their customer service and their genuine "happy to help" attitude. Jordan Creek Torrid keeps doing bad customer service practices by me and I am very disappointed. Please change this store's customer service attitude and it could be great!
I love Torrid's clothing but most of the staff are rude. I've had bad experiences that have turned me into an online shopper.

All the sales associates in the merle hay location need a refresh training in customer service Effective immediately.
I spoke with the store manager she didn't understand what I was saying and proceeded to ignore my complaint -saying she didn't see us walk in which isn't true because she was behind the cash register just standing there looking lost, another associate who had a pink dress on never help us out and just proceeded to ignore us again at this time there was probably 5 people in the store @ 4:13pm.
The sales associates didn't want to assist us because we were black -in which is uunaccetbale and Discrimination- I will be calling corporate today.
Just was at this location two days ago all the girls are so friendly and funny and they get on a personal level with you to figure out what they can do for you. Lindsey helped me with shopping and at the register she went above and beyond with opening a credit card and get the most bang for my buck.
